Freelance Video Producer

We produce corporate and event videos. We also specialize in promotional videos for the tourism/leisure industry. Clients include Japan Traditional Foods, the Osmosis Spa in Sonoma, the O’Brien Estate Winery in Napa, British Columbia’s Ministry of Tourism, Siemens at San Francisco International Airport, and the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco (documenting its relocation in 2003).

• Reviewed and photographed restaurants (food and interiors) and entertainment venues in Lithuania’s capital city.
• Wrote promotional copy for some of the city’s most exclusive shops.
• Conducted interviews with business leaders and foreign diplomats.
• Worked closely with the Editor-in-Chief and Sales Director to maintain strict quality guidelines and market the magazine in the field.
• Proofread and signed off on every issue after supervising corrections.

Also published in the Baltic Times, the Baltic Outlook (the airBaltic inflight magazine), Baltic Jewelry News and the American Chamber of Commerce’s newsletter.

Film and Video Production

Special Recognition: I was awarded the opportunity to be mentored by Academy Award-winning director Robert Zemeckis (FORREST GUMP, CONTACT, BEOWULF, BACK TO THE FUTURE) during the production of my short film VINCENT at USC.

Event videography, media training videos, corporate seminars. Clients included Cisco Systems, the Gap, the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, and Bread and Roses (live music).

Assistant to Producer, The Cutting Edge Productions, for THE CUTTING EDGE: THE MAGIC OF MOVIE EDITING
Corresponded with industry players, conducted pre-production research, and assisted the producer in rewriting the proposal for the film. This high profile documentary on motion picture editing involved such editors as Walter Murch and Alan Heim, and directors such as Steven Spielberg and Francis Ford Coppola.

Production Coordinator, Abrahamson Films, for SHADOW PEOPLE (a one-hour television pilot)
Coordinated the day-to-day details of the shoot on location. Quickly and efficiently solved any problems that arose.

Won a USC School of Cinema-Television writing competition which led to Academy Award-winning director Robert Zemeckis being my mentor on this project. VINCENT screened at various film festivals across America and appeared on television station KTEH in San Jose, California, and on Japanese satellite TV.

• A BULLET HAS NO NAME, a documentary produced for Teens on Target, a non-profit organization that strives to stop youth violence.
• TOO MANY JOSÉS, a documentary which was bought by and aired on PBS (WGBH-TV) in Boston. When Presidential candidate Pat Buchanan said that there were, “…too many Josés in this country,” it motivated Boston teenager José Lugo to confront Buchanan about his views. Features appearances by comedian Dana Carvey, Senator Bob Dole, Oliver North, and Pat Buchanan.
